Who we are

What this website collects

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It keeps a cookieless count of page views and of taps on the email, phone and “Start a conversation” buttons, stored by us on Cloudflare: the page, the referring site, the country and whether the device was a phone, tablet or desktop. No IP address, name or identifier is stored, nothing follows you to other sites, and browsers that send a “do not track” or Global Privacy Control signal are not counted at all. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also keeps short-lived server logs for security; its own privacy terms apply to those.

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we keep your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your property or project, for as long as we need them to reply, to carry out any work you engage us for, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We use ordinary business email and telephone services to do this, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Your rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Write to hello@aloriehospitality.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Links to other sites

This site links to Dusit International and to Wikimedia Commons for photograph credits. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

The Kuching and Damai photographs are used under Creative Commons licences via Wikimedia Commons: Grand Margherita Hotel by Medelam (CC BY-SA 4.0); Damai Beach Resort, pool and Damai Beach Resort, beach by Bernard Dupont (CC BY-SA 2.0); Kuching waterfront at dusk by Marufish (CC BY-SA 2.0). Some of the pictures on this site, on the landing page, behind the “Who we work with” panels and at the top of the service and approach pages, are computer-generated scenes of the kind of work we do; the pictures captioned with a property name are photographs or renderings of that property. All other photographs and renderings are Alorie's own or its clients'. The Dusit International name and logo belong to Dusit International and identify Alorie's role as its authorised representative in Malaysia.

If our practices change, this page will change with them, and the date above will be updated.
